Nickerson Park Family
Campground is nestled deep in the Natchaug River
Valley, beneath the sights and sounds of civilization. Separated from the 12,000 acre
Natchaug State Forest by the cool, clear, trout-stocked, Natchaug River, Nickerson
Campground offers excellent trout fishing, swimming and relaxing family tube floats down
the river. The Natchaug State Forest offers abundant wildlife with fine hiking, mountain
biking and wonderful photo opportunities.
Wildlife
species include white-tailed deer, wild turkey, pheasant, squirrels, rabbits, mink, otter
and more. Awaken to songbird melodies with the morning sun and when the campfire dies, and
the conversation and coffee slows, enjoy star shows that rival those found in
Montanas Big Sky Country.
Chris and Diane Nickerson
and their sons John, Paul and Henry,
welcome you to Nickerson Park Family Campground, where they
continue the family tradition and share the wonderful world of camping with friends and
family.
