For guests looking for easy-positioning and simple setup, there are multiple Full Hook-Up, Pull-Through sites that are ideal for Motor-homes or Fifth-Wheel Trailers.
River-Side
If you’re looking for a site with a view, you’ll want to camp on one of Nickerson Park’s River-Side sites. Each of these 40+ campsites sits directly on the west bank of the Natchaug River, giving guests a front-row seat to some of the valley’s most beautiful sights and sounds. Many of these sites provide direct access to the river for fishing and swimming.
Sites along the river include hook-ups for Water, Cable TV, and up to 50 Amp Electrical. Due to their close proximity to the water-front these sites do not have sewer hookups. Dumping stations are available for use at the end of your stay.
Wooded Area
The North End of Nickerson Park contains a number of wooded sites perfect for tents or smaller trailers. These plots provide guests with a beautiful camping experience among the trees. Many of these sights are located along the Natchaug River, or the forest edge.
Most of these sites include on-site Water and 20 Amp Electric.

Group Areas
Nickerson Park offers a large area for big groups, perfect for family reunions, church groups, or youth programs. This space includes the use of a pavilion and large fire ring.
